Summary

We redesigned the EverJOURNEY website to give it a modern, professional look and feel that matches the calibre of its executive coaching and wellness services. The original site relied heavily on imagery and didn’t clearly explain what EverJOURNEY offers or who it’s for. We restructured the content around its two key audiences, organisations and individuals, and simplified the navigation into four clear sections: Home, About Tamara, Services and Methodology. This makes it easy for visitors to find the services that are relevant to them without having to dig.

We also made booking the natural next step, with a “Book a 30-min Consultation” button in the header and throughout the site, connected to an online booking calendar so potential clients can schedule a session in minutes. Trust signals such as client logos, credentials and verified Google reviews are woven through the page to build confidence at every stage of the journey.

The result is a clear, confident website that speaks directly to business leaders and HR teams, showcases Tamara’s expertise, and turns visitors into booked consultations.

Our Approach

1.

Discovery

We reviewed the original site and identified the key gaps in the user journey, mainly unclear messaging, no clear path for different types of clients, and limited trust-building content.

2.

Audience-Led Structure

We organised the site around two distinct audiences, with dedicated pages for Services for Organisations and Services for Individuals, so each visitor sees content that speaks directly to their needs.

3.

Simplified Navigation

We streamlined the menu into a few clear sections, with a Services dropdown that splits the offering by audience, so users can find what they need in one or two clicks.

4.

Modern Design

Using Divi, we created a refined, professional layout with a calm colour palette, clear typography and a strong hero section that immediately tells visitors what EverJOURNEY does: helping leaders think, perform and lead with clarity.

5.

Seamless Booking

We integrated an online booking calendar, so visitors can book a 30-minute consultation directly from the site, without the back and forth of emails.

6.

Building Trust

We showcased Tamara’s credentials, client logos from organisations like the Western Cape Government and Legalwise, and verified Google reviews to give visitors confidence before they get in touch.

Key Features

Clear, Benefit-Led Messaging: A bold hero section that tells visitors straight away how EverJOURNEY helps leaders improve clarity, strengthen decision-making and sustain performance.

Audience-Focused Services: Separate service pages for organisations and individuals, so corporate clients and private clients each find the right offering quickly.

Simplified Navigation: A clean, focused menu with a Services dropdown that makes exploring the site quick and intuitive.

Online Consultation Booking: A “Book a 30-min Consultation” call to action in the header and throughout the site, linked to an online calendar for instant scheduling.

Built-In Trust Signals: Credentials, client logos and verified 5-star Google reviews displayed throughout the homepage.

Programme Showcase: A clear overview of in-person development programmes, from the High-Impact Leadership Programme to the Burnout Recovery Programme.

SEO-Ready Foundations: Optimised titles, meta descriptions and content targeting leadership and executive coaching searches in Johannesburg and South Africa.

Fully Responsive: A smooth, consistent experience on desktop, tablet and mobile.

The Results

The new EverJOURNEY website is clearer, more modern and far easier to navigate. Visitors now understand within seconds what EverJOURNEY offers and who it’s for, and they have a simple, direct path from first impression to booking a consultation. With stronger trust signals and an audience-led structure, the site now positions EverJOURNEY as a credible, professional partner for both organisations and individuals.

5 Marketing Mistakes in Storytelling You Should Avoid

Storytelling is an age-old concept, but the concept is relatively new in marketing. This can be attributable to the fact that marketers did not see its scalability worthiness. However, the growth of the internet has changed everything – it has become easy for your target audience to follow up any story that you share, and second, it is not a must for marketers to tell a whole story in one go.

In spite of this, people have mastered the art of ignoring anything that does not excite them. As such, it is necessary for marketers to avoid certain mistakes that might cost their effort in marketing through storytelling. This article highlights some of the common mistakes that you should be aware of when adopting storytelling as a marketing approach.

  1. Too Much Focus On The Features

A great brand story does not focus on the bells and whistles related to the features of an offer. The best brand stories are based on benefits, interests, values, wants, and needs of the customer, which enhance their life in some way. App.net emphasizes offering clients a solution to some problems they were experiencing such as mistreatment, inadequate or lack of privacy, and challenge the status quo.

Therefore, avoid focusing too much on your brand’s feature, what it can do and instead share a story that is relatable to the target audience.

  1. Tell A Story That Does Not Interest Your Customers

Have you ever told a child a bedtime story then over all a sudden he jumped in to control it to direct the story? The same case is similar to businesses and customers. The audience you are targeting has a story that they would love to hear. The implication is that should you deviate from the story; you are likely to experience reduced engagement and low response or none to the call to action. Avoid persuading people to believe a story that they do not connect with; it will not work.

  1. Telling A Story That Does Not Evoke Emotions

How emotional your story is determines its possibility of going viral. Several types of emotions such as anger, excitement, happiness, or sadness trigger your audience to share your content. The best story should be more than just an explanation piece and evoke the emotions that align with the current situation and the message you are passing.

  1. Letting Facts Ruin A Good Story

It sounds controversial. We are not implying that your story should be about lies. The gist is that you need to select what information goes in your story as well as how to present it. For example, sharing a press release on Saturday because you just hit a million users may not draw the attention you need so wouldn’t it be better if you did it on Monday and let the excitement flow during the entire week?

  1. Inconsistency

Most start-ups and even big corporates make the mistake of inconsistency. Do not promise anything in a story if you are sure you will not honor it. It is advisable to stop the whole idea of storytelling if what you say in a story is extremely different from what you are doing. Your words and actions should align in passing the intended message.

Having a clear concept about your brand’s story makes your marketing quite easy and achievable. Any company focusing on leveraging brand storytelling should plan to overcome the listed mistakes. Do you have a start-up story to share?
